DEPLOYMENT AND SUPPORT SERVICES Include

Technology Deployment : A plan documenting the steps required to procure, install, and test hardware, software, and communications components for each release of the system and/or each unique site.  The plan includes the following:

  • Installation and Testing Strategy.  Describe the strategy to be employed to prepare, install, and test the equipment and communications network at each installation site. Prepare checklists to be used for each key event in the technology deployment where a number of steps are required to complete a process.
  • Work Plans and Schedule.  Provide a detailed schedule of the ordering, receiving, configuring, testing, burn-in, packing, shipping, installing, and testing activities for each installation site.  Assign responsibility for each activity and identify start and completion dates.
